StandingTall: a novel fall prevention program using technology

November 9 @ 9:00 pm - 2:00 pm PST

This webinar will describe the development, evaluation and implementation of a novel fall prevention program using eHealth technology. StandingTall is a tailored exercise program including functional balance, strength and cognitive exercises. It is designed to be delivered independently in the home without the need for close supervision from a health professional. We have conclusive clinical trial evidence that older people who exercise using the StandingTall program will reduce their falls rate by 16% and injurious falls rate by 20% for up to 2-years.
