New Choose to Move programs are launching in-person & online this month and next (January and February 2021).
Choose to Move, a free, evidence-based approach supports seniors to become more active and socially connected for better health and mobility. In Choose to Move, participants work one-on-one with a trained activity coach to create a personal physical activity plan to meet their health and fitness goals by doing activities that they enjoy. They are also part of a group of peers who share the goal of becoming more physically active.
Choose to Move participants notice that they have more energy, feel happier, and experience improved mobility. Being physically active and socially connected can support health, independence, and can enhance total quality of life.
