The Canadian Centre for Elder Law is recruiting an advisory council to support our project on engaging people living with dementia in decision-making. This opportunity is open to people living with dementia and family caregivers. The Council will meet 7-10 times over 3 years to participate in key project decisions and events. Meetings will be in-person or by video conference. Council members will receive a $50 honorarium for each meeting as a token of recognition of their time and expertise.
This is part of their Engaging People Living with Dementia in Decision-Making Project, which will focus on developing educational resources for teaching healthcare stakeholders how to support people living with dementia to participate as much as possible in decisions that impact their lives.
