New study on the experience of living with dementia

UBC Professor Deborah O'Connor and UBC School of Social Work student Karen Wong are doing a research study to understand the experience of people living with dementia, especially their experience of stigma. They are now inviting people living with dementia or cognitive impairment and whose primary language is Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin), Punjabi, and Spanish to participate.

It would be greatly appreciated if those who are interested, or know somebody in their communities who may be interested, could connect with this team. Karen can be reached by phone at 778 288 7774 or email

Please see the attached invitation letter for more information about the study in English, Chinese (simplified and traditional Chinese versions), Punjabi and Spanish.
