Mental Health and Addictions Services are offered in communities across the province. Some are even offered online, over the phone or across virtual platforms.

You may refer yourself to some services by calling a community mental health or community addictions office in your area (please note that some services may require a referral from a health care provider).

You may also request a referral to mental health and addictions services from your primary care provider, other health care professionals or community agency familiar with your concerns.

For help finding your way through the health care system, reach out to the Mental Health and Addictions Patient Navigator by calling (902) 218-3289 or emailing MHApatientnavigator@ihis.org(link sends e-mail)
