[Canada-Wide] Oshki Wupoowane | The Blanket Fund (deadline: May 31, 2026)
In September 2022, Oshki Wupoowane | The Blanket Fund launched. Today, Downie & Wenjack Fund (DWF) is proud to partner with Canadian Tire Corporation (CTC) to carry this important work forward. Through this partnership, 100% of net proceeds from the sale of all Hudson’s Bay Point Blanket will continue to support Indigenous Peoples and communities throughout Canada.
The Blanket Fund will provide support for Indigenous cultural, artistic, and educational activities. Offered through two grant streams (Reconciliation Action Grants and Capacity Building Grants), The Blanket Fund can be accessed by Indigenous-led initiatives and organizations in Canada.
