The Gaia Community Care and Wellness Society (Gaia Cares) operated a weekly wellness program for Chinese-speaking seniors. The organization facilitates activities such as ping pong and board games, drawing and more. Gaia Cares aims to provide a supportive environment for seniors to engage in recreational activities while promoting their overall well-being. For many older immigrant adults, participating in such programs, is an opportunity to practice language skills and foster social connections within their community.
