[Pilot Project] Respite for ALL

news image

SE Health and GreenShield have launched Respite For ALL, a first-of-its-kind caregiver support program for employees across Canada. The initiative provides much-needed relief for working caregivers, including 10 hours of free in-home respite care, virtual counselling sessions, and access to internet-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

The Respite for ALL pilot program is a joint initiative by SE Health and GreenShield as well as our service provider partner, Just Like Family (JLF). This program is designed to support working caregivers who face affordability challenges by offering 10 hours of free home-based respite.

In addition to the above respite support, GreenShield is offering five hours of culturally sensitive, trauma-informed virtual therapy with a registered therapist plus a free one-year subscription to internet-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Digital CBT).

We will send you additional program information if your application is approved.

If you meet the following eligibility criteria, you will be selected for the pilot project on a first come first serve basis until the allocated quotas are filled:

  • You are currently employed
  • You work at least 30 hours per week
  • You regularly provide care and support to a family member in your home or in their home (e.g. parent, grandparent, partner, child, etc.)

Your participation in this pilot project will help shape future support programs for caregivers across Canada. Thank you for the incredible work you do in supporting your loved ones.
