Creative Caregiving Guide

The Creative Caregiving Guide offers 3-7 separate activities in the categories of:

1. Visual Art;
2. Music;
3. Dance and Movement; and
4. Poetry and Language.

Each activity in the guide includes:

• materials needed to complete the activity,
• a 5-10 minute instructional video showing a support partner working through the activity with an older adult and their care provider;
• and written instructions for the activity.

Many of the activities could be used in intergenerational programs and the instructional videos could be used to supplement orientation and training for younger intergenerational program participants. The guide, including instructions and videos can be accessed directly.
