The GrandPals Program is an intergenerational initiative that fosters connections between elementary school students and a team of GrandPals, who are adults over 55 years old. Through weekly open conversations, the program creates a platform for meaningful engagement and learning through storytelling. This program aims to cultivate understanding, mutual respect, and a greater sense of belonging among students, Host Teachers, and GrandPals.

Seniors involved in the program have attested to its many benefits. They express how the program serves as an informal life review, fostering friendships, and providing an opportunity to positively influence and educate the younger generation
