[Recording] Understanding and Supporting 2SLGBTQI Experiences with Dementia

The Canadian healthcare system often overlooks the unique needs of 2SLGBTQI individuals living with dementia. 

This recorded webinar highlights key findings from Egale’s dementia-related research, introduces resources developed to support inclusive care, and shares Egale’s multi-award-winning awareness campaign, Help Us Remain. The webinar also introduces the Alzheimer Society of Ontario’s various programs and services, including the FirstLink® program – an initiative of the Alzheimer Society designed to connect individuals and families living with dementia to support services, education, and community programs from the time of diagnosis onward.
