Challenges and Triumphs in Recruiting Older Adults for Intergenerational Programs

Are you having difficulties getting older adults to attend your Intergenerational Programs? …especially those who are isolated? Have you had success in your recruitment process?

In this session we discussed the victories and hurdles we’re all dealing with. We did some brainstorming about what’s working for folks and what isn’t. Two heads are better than one, right? We shared learnings from others who are doing intergenerational work so that participants were able to leave with practical and tangible ideas to use when recruiting older adults for IG programs.

In this recording, we had breakout sessions. We encourage you to pause the video and follow the prompt when it says so you can compare what you come up with to others.
