[Toronto Event] AgeTech Innovation Week

Hosted by AGE-WELL, AgeTech Innovation Week (ATIW) 2023 will be the premiere event for technology and innovation for aging and caregiving this year. The event will take place in Toronto, Ontario at the Hilton Toronto.

Other special events taking place during AgeTech Innovation Week 2023 include: 

• A National Research Council of Canada (NRC) Aging in Place Challenge Program Workshop –  Aging in Place: learn, connect and collaborate – will be held on Monday, October 23. The option to add this event to your agenda is available through the registration links above.
• A solutions showcase and exhibits hall plus a national AgeTech Virtual Tour for older adults and caregivers.
• A Healthy Aging Canada symposium, co-hosted with the Canadian Frailty Network (CFN), will be held within the Canadian Association on Gerontology (CAG) annual conference. (Separate registration required.)
• EPIC-AT Annual Meeting hosting members of a new training platform for future leaders in digital health solutions for older adults with complex health needs.
• A workshop led by researchers and experts from the National Research Council of Canada (NRC), Canadian Standards Association (CSA), AGE-WELL, and the University of Waterloo – From Innovation to Adoption: Standards-Based Solutions to Support Technology for Aging in Place – being held on Tuesday, October 24. The session will feature a presentation and discussion on AgeTech design and evaluation framework, guidelines, and best practices, that expedite the development, validation and dissemination of technologies that can address the needs of older adults in a safe and reliable way.
