[Webinar] Starting Strong: Story Sharing Circles on How to Begin Intergenerational Work
How do you turn an idea for intergenerational programming into a meaningful community initiative?
Hear stories from our IG CoP team members about how they started doing intergenerational work and how it evolved to what they’re doing now!
Join our Intergenerational Community of Practice Virtual Café as we explore the foundations of getting started with intergenerational programming. Whether you are just beginning your journey or looking to strengthen existing efforts, this interactive session will provide practical insights, peer learning opportunities, and space for connection.
Together, we will discuss our key ingredients for success, including building strong partnerships, navigating logistics and planning considerations, and creating programs that foster meaningful connections across generations.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in breakout room discussions hosted by our team, and a collaborative show-and-tell session, where members can share stories, successes, lessons learned, and challenges encountered along the way. Through these conversations, we will exchange ideas and learn from one another's experiences.
As part of our Intergenerational Community of Practice, this session reflects our commitment to Amplify, Strengthen, Connect, Support, and Build Community those working to build age-inclusive communities through collaboration, education, and shared learning.
Come ready to learn, connect, and be inspired by fellow practitioners working to bring generations together.
