[Webinar Recording] The Role of the CBSS Sector in Addressing Older Women’s Economic Prosperity and Security

resource image

HelpAge Canada has launched a new research, engagement, and outreach initiative focused on strengthening the economic prosperity and security of older women. With November marking Financial Literacy Month, this recorded webinar explores the lifelong economic disparities many older women, particularly those who are racialized, immigrant, Indigenous, LGBTQ+, or living on low income, continue to face, and invites CBSS organizations to support efforts to better understand and address these challenges.

An accompanying resource, The Role of the CBSS Sector in Addressing Older Women’s Economic Prosperity and Security, provides an overview of why this work matters, the project’s phased approach, and how CBSS organizations can get involved to help shape solutions, inform policy, and advance economic equity for older women across Canada.
